LifeCell has been accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories(NABL), against the meticulous standard of ISO 15189:2007 for the proficiency of its lab. This accreditation is a testimony to the fact that LifeCell’s laboratory practices are protocol driven and reflect blobal best practices. This recognition makes LifeCell the first and currently the only stem cell bank in the country to receive this respected and recognized certification.

LifeCell International Private Limited has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of World Health Organisation Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Blood Establishments.

LifeCell was awarded the most prestigious AABB Accreditation in the year 2007. AABB (American Association of Blood Banks) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to developing the highest standards in blood and cord blood banking, transfusion medicine and cellular therapy. The accreditation assessment includes stem cell processing, cyro-preservation records, document control, inspection and testing, training of lab technicians, sample identification and traceability and verification of cord blood units when released from storage.

The Research and Development division of LifeCell has been recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India. This certification endorses our adherence to research protocols and processes has been formally recognized by the Govt. Moreover this certification serves as a boost to promote further research in Stem Cell and to collaborate with other national institutions of excellence.
